Inspections
Inspections on pressure control equipment, wireline, spools, valves, line pipe, and more. Documented and audit-ready.
EMPIRE
Nobody wants to find out something is wrong with their equipment when it’s already in the hole or under pressure. Inspections exist for a reason — and skipping them, rushing them, or handing them off to someone who doesn’t really know what they’re looking at is how small problems become expensive ones.
Empire performs equipment inspections across Northern Alberta, both on-site and in our Grande Prairie shop. Our guys know this equipment because they’ve worked with it. They know what worn looks like, what wrong looks like, and what’s actually fit for service versus what’s going to cause a problem down the line.
Every inspection we perform is documented properly. That means if someone asks to see your inspection records — a regulator, a client, your own safety team — the paperwork is there and it’s clean. No scrambling, no gaps.
We’ll tell you straight up what we find. If something passes, great — it goes back to work with documentation to back it up. If something doesn’t pass, we’ll tell you exactly what it needs and what your options are. No sugarcoating, no runaround.
We mobilize ASAP across Northern Alberta and BC. Call our dispatch line now.

BOPs, accumulators, manifolds, and associated pressure control components. We inspect for wear, damage, seal integrity, and overall fitness for service before equipment goes back to work.
Wireline gear takes a beating job after job. We inspect lines, equipment assemblies, and associated components to make sure everything is in serviceable condition and meets the requirements for safe operation.
Crossover spools, drill spools, and spacer spools inspected for damage, corrosion, flange face condition, and pressure rating integrity.
Plug valves, chokes, Weco and companion flanges — inspected to confirm they're sealing properly and fit for the pressures they'll be exposed to.
Pressure piping and hose assemblies inspected for wear, damage, and end fitting integrity. This is the stuff that carries fluid under pressure — it doesn't get a pass just because it looks okay on the outside.
If it's going on your lease or your wellsite, we can inspect it. Call us with the specifics and we'll let you know what's involved.
Empire takes pride in treating our people well — which is why they stick around and why we can keep sending you the same reliable faces job after job. A workforce that’s respected is a workforce that performs. Every person we send out has been through our process. That means:
The best time to inspect equipment is before it’s on location under pressure. The worst time is after something has already gone wrong.
Empire’s inspection services are available year-round. Don’t let a busy schedule push inspections down the priority list until they become urgent.
If you’ve got equipment that’s due for a look, or you’re not sure when it was last properly inspected, call us. We’ll figure out what needs to happen.
